Building Inspections Required

After the fees have been paid and the permit is issued, you may begin construction.  Inspections are required to make sure the integrity of the structure is safe throughout the stages of construction.  IT IS THE PROJECT MANAGER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO SCHEDULE INSPECTIONS AT EACH STAGE OF CONSTRUCTION.  Failure to schedule inspections may lead to a stop-work order, withholding a certificate of occupancy, and future code compliance fines.
