Talk with a Cop

share

We are able to do a lot as a police department, but when we join forces with the community, we are able to do much more.  One of the most important aspects of effective policing is community engagement. In order to build trust and respect, collaboration with the community is essential.  Our community, in shared vision, can help provide awareness and knowledge for making Logan both safer and more enjoyable.  For groups of 10 or more, we would love to have an officer educate and interact at your community events regarding any related topic, not limited to the following:

  • Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE)
  • Child Abduction Response Team (CART)
  • Parking and Parking Enforcement
  • Animal Control Responsibilities
  • Traffic Safety
  • Internet Crimes Against Children
  • Drug Abuse Education and Prevention
  • Q&A with Logan Police Leadership
  • Police Service Dogs
  • Theft/Burglary – how to stay safe
  • Personal Safety
  • 911 Dispatch Responsibilities
  • School Resources, Bike Rodeos, etc.
  • Scout Tours or walk-throughs at the police department

Please contact allison.mckenzie@loganutah.org or 435-716-9311 to schedule a community presentation.
